Mexico initiated anti-dumping sunset review investigation of China’s seamless steel pipe

On November21,2018, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Mexico issued a proclamation in the Official Gazette of Mexico, announcing the initiation of the sunset review of anti-dumping investigation against seamless steel pipe (tuberíadeacerosincostura ) from China. 

The dumping investigation period of this case is from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018. And the damage investigation period is from October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2018. The Mexican customs codes of the products involved are 7304.19.01、7304.19.04、7304.19.99、7304.31.01、7304.31.10、7304.31.99、7304.39.01、7304.39.05 and 7304.39.99. 

The resolution shall come into force the day after the Official Gazette is issued. During the review period, the original anti-dumping measures shall continue to take effect.

The interests, within 28 working days after the promulgation of this resolution (the deadline is 14:00 on the same day ), register their response to lawsuits and submit questionnaires, case reviews and relevant evidence. Questionnaires are available at UCPI office or downloaded from the official website of Ministry of Economy.

On November 21, 2012, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation against seamless steel pipe from China. 

On January 7, 2014, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Mexico issued a notice in the Official Gazette of Mexico, making a final anti-dumping arbitration on imports of seamless steel pipes from China, and decided to impose an anti-dumping duty of $15,68.92 per ton on seamless steel tubes from China.
